Stuck in the Mud

In April 2019 DMG managed a partner in Fort Worth, TX for an Owner with a Sales background in logistics. DMG was a great fit to assist in the HR tasks.

Problem:

Owner did not have a plan for any on the road issues.

Solutions:

Owner decided to utilize several unreliable vendors causing delayed deliveries and driver’s overtime pay.

Upon allowing DMG Dispatch to manage roadside services, the company has not accumulated any overtime due to on the road issues with response times being under 30 minutes (even in rural areas).

New to Town

In December 2019 DMG Contracted with a launching owner-operator on 2/5/2020 in Bethlehem, PA. The owner is a serial entrepreneur with multiple business operations. DMG was a great fit to offload some of the administrative burdens and frequency of management activity

Problem:

Owner wants to be #1 in his station from launch day by running as many routes as possible.

Solutions:

Owner decided to mass hire by having multiple group interviews and participating in a hire fair organized by his contractor.

Within (3) weeks prior to launch, DMG Team Managed Onboarding service successful provided the owner with 41 road-ready drivers. Ultimately allowing the owner to be capable of efficiently run 20 routes on Day-1. Drastically improving timeline to profitability for a newly launched business

No Break In Between

After attempting to manage all aspects of the operations alone, DMG began to manage a company in San Leandro, CA for an Owner with multiple nonprofit organizations. DMG was a great fit to streamline the processes within the DSP to allow for financial growth.

Problem:

The Owner began with a weekly payroll policy and had no time to find out how to move to a bi-weekly schedule.

Solutions:

Owner was in the process of cancelling all routes for 1 week to avoid processing payroll the following week.

DMG Payroll researched the State laws and determined how to overcome the obstacle and remain compliant with all the laws. In turn, the owner was able to switch to the bi-weekly cycle reducing errors and cost and providing the opportunity to give every driver an increase in hourly pay.
